«The Ice Road» is a historical drama. The story of the difficult relationship between Rudolf, an officer of the Wehrmacht, and Sarah, a Jewess, the wife of a wealthy Italian engineer. Given their different social statuses and worldviews, they find the strength to love each other, regardless of the dangers that inevitably await them in the future. The action takes place in Italy and Austria in 1938—1943.
