Chapter 1: Roof, the Happy Dog

Once there was a dog named Roof,

With fur as soft as a summer’s breeze,

He lived with a family, full of love,

Adam, Jack, and Samantha were his keys.

Roof was a happy and playful pup,

His wagging tail brought joy to all,

In Adam’s arms, he found true love,

In their cozy home, they stood tall.

Each day was filled with laughter and fun,

Roof chasing balls, with pure delight,

His energy boundless, his spirit bright,

A loyal companion, from morning to night.

Together they’d explore the world outside,

Roof’s paws dancing on grass so green,

He’d sniff at flowers and chase butterflies,

Living the life of a dog, carefree and serene.

Chapter 2: A Mischievous Toy

One sunny day, mischief filled the air,

Roof played gleefully without a single care,

Among his toys, a rubber duck serene,

Little did he know what it’d soon mean.

With playful bounds, Roof pounced and leapt,

Chewing on the toy, he was content,

But in one gulp, a mistake was made,

The rubber duck vanished, in Roof’s mouth it stayed.

A gasp escaped Adam when he saw,

His furry friend swallow the toy with awe,

Oh, Roof, what have you done, he cried,

Fear and worry filled him up inside.

Rushing to Roof’s side, Adam tried,

To free the trapped duck, deep inside,

But the toy remained stubbornly still,

Causing anxious hearts and a heavy chill.

Chapter 3: The Forgotten Woof

Roof woke up the next day, ready to play,

But something was off, he couldn’t convey,

As he opened his mouth to let out a sound,

Instead of a woof, a quack echoed around.

Confusion engulfed him, his bark had disappeared,

The familiar sound he once had revered,

He tried and he tried, but the quacks persisted,

Roof felt lost and his family insisted.

With every attempt, he felt more distressed,

His barks were gone, he couldn’t express,

No longer could he communicate his glee,

Only quacks emerged, like cries from a tree.

Adam, Jack, and Samantha gathered near,

Concern etched on their faces so clear,

They wondered how to bring back Roof’s voice,

And restore his spirit, they had no choice.
