Beginning
You can’t love a certain business, engage in it with interest for a long time and not come up with something of your own, something at least partially new. This is not only pleasant, not only meets the human need for self-expression, when you are not just a carrier of other people’s knowledge, but also create your own, it is also inevitable. Because every fan of their business has some own developments, discoveries, their own thoughts and ideas on how to do their business better. I also got them.
When you study psychology for quite a long time and work on its various methods, you have the opportunity to compare all the effects produced by these different methods on people, you will inevitably identify the strongest, most effective moments of influence on people, which can then be packed into something of your own. Which I did, deciding to create my own psychological methodology, which I called higher psychology. Otherwise, it is somehow not serious if you always remain a carrier of only something foreign and do not bring at least a small part of your own to what you are doing. Anyone who is dedicated to their work, whatever it is, will understand me.
Higher psychology was born out of what I was most impressed with about what can affect people, their inner worlds, their minds and souls. And why was I particularly impressed by what is easily the basis of higher psychology? This is the power of religion, the power of faith, the power of suggestion, the power of ideologies, the power of thinking, logic, the power of reasoning, the power of creative approach to life, the power of illusions.
Science is also a strong thing, just as an idea, but only later, as a methodology. It is now considered the best tool for understanding the world. People believe in scientists, believe in scientific authoritative sources of information, for them science has become a new religion. They haven’t checked anything themselves, and they can’t. They even sometimes, despiteт alternative research, do not think, do not analyze, but simply accept on faith everything that science says through various sources. For many people, this or that scientific source is an authority, but not the scientific method of cognition itself. Therefore, for most people, everything scientific is also based on faith. And this is a strong belief. It determines the worldview of a huge number of people, as well as religion.
There is also logic, reasoning, and common sense. You can call all this a philosophy that relies on human thinking. This is also a very powerful thing. And unlike religion or belief in science, a person’s thinking is the most reliable guarantee of proving any truth. For him first of all. Even your own experience is not as reliable as what you can come up with through thinking. Because one’s own experience is only a part of life, and thinking in theory can cover anything and everything. Therefore, he has more trust.
And psychology, particularly cognitive psychology, tells us that the role of thoughts in the state of people is crucialей. Our psychological state depends entirely on our thoughts. Moreover, thoughts can create anything, make any fantasy a reality. Therefore, philosophy is the mother of all sciences, because at first everything is based on philosophical postulates, ideas, assumptions, theories, hypotheses. In general, you can talk usefully about everything and in any way. You can apply an esoteric approach, mystical, scientific, creative, and whatever you want. After all, the most important thing is what? The most important thing is to build such an inner world, to connect such thoughts при которых with each other, in which a person will feel good, willт have the desire to live and strive for a lot, regardless of anything in his life. No matter what happens, a person’s thoughts should help him enjoy life and fight if it is necessary for this life to continue and continue to please him. This is the goal I pursued when I created higher psychology, which will give us all such a methodology, thanks to which we will be able to deal with everything and solve any problems.
All the most powerful things that I discovered in psychology, with the help of which you can influence people and yourself, I decided to collect in one technique, formulating the approach in such a way that scientific things have a place in it, and religious, mystical, philosophical. And it turned out what it turned out. The book will show you that.
This technique is suitable for both ordinary people who want to adopt a worldview that can help them survive any time and cope with any tasks, and specialists for whom it is important to direct the thoughts of their clients in the right direction. On the basis of higher psychology, you can also come up with something of your own, which, perhaps, will help you even better start managing your own, other people’s thoughts. I believe that any specialist who, let’s just say, is always looking for the best options for doing their work, will inevitably try different approaches, different techniques to solve some confusing problem of their clients, which cannot be solved with the known methods. And higher psychology will definitely not be superfluous. For some, it will allow you to completely abandon everything else, from less practical methods, taking only it into service. Besides, there should always be a place for experimentation in psychology.
Everything we use in psychology should help us manage our thoughts. I have long understood that people do not need a scientific approach, a fair and objective view of things, and not only in psychology. And in our life, this is not often necessary at all, to know what and how it really works, what happens and why, what is the truth, where is the truth, how to do something correctly. People need only their own desires and spiritual comfort. Everything else they see only through the prism of their own, including often insane desires.
Therefore, they were always susceptible to illusions. Something that distorts reality to suit their interests. Right? Therefore, we live in a hypocritical world, where they love those who draw beautiful pictures in their heads, and do not grieve with the harsh truth. And given this, I understand that even with the help of reasoning, even with the help of fantasies, even with the help of a suitable interpretation of facts, scientific data, but people need to create such thoughts in their heads, from which they can build an inner world that suits them. Anything that helps you look at the world with interest, passion, and fearlessness will be accepted by people, regardless of how well it reflects objective reality. We don’t care about reality. Our own inner worlds are more important to us. Where everything should be fine.
Higher psychology was created by me for this purpose. Not to search for the truth, but to make a person think that he has found the truth that will completely suit him. And with its help, I felt happy!
1. Higher powers
Let’s start by thinking about the higher forcesахthat supposedly influence our psychology on a deeply unconscious level. What can be considered a higher power? Well, for example, complex natural laws that we obey, either independently of our will, or when this will is not there. Or even cosmic, universal laws, that is, not only related to our planet, but in general, to all existence, to everything that exists. The falsity of these laws, above all the complexity of our understanding of them, makes them supreme. That is, it is not easy for us to approach them from the point of view of our intellectual abilities; from the point of view of science, it is not easy or even impossible to study and fully understand мереthem. It’s like running into an axiom. You can’t answer the question of why something works or is arranged the way it works and is arranged, or why this something exists or happens, for example, life. You can’t, because that’s how the world works, according to these rules it exists. And we just accept it. It’s the same with the higher laws, they exist, we obey them, live by them and there is no point in asking why and why. Because it is. But we can allow different thoughts about them. And at the very least, you can simply take into account their influence on us.
So let’s say with you, not knowing exactly, but just assuming it, that here are some higher forces, well, there, the power of God, the power of the devil, the power of the universe, whatever you want to call it, which determine our life, our thoughts, our actions, behavior, can guide us in certain moments in a certain way. Could this be the case? And so, let’s say they have certain goals for people who should play a role in this big scenario of development or just the functioning of the universe, of being. No, I’m not talking about fate, but about roles. Here they are, these roles, just as a tree, water, or stone has a certain role, so people also have roles that one of them, that is, one of us, must perform. And depending on the choice we make, among other factors that affect the life of each individual, we take on one or another role. The higher powers have their own idea, their own plan, the goal that they pursue. To do this, they also need в том числе иperformers in our human face. These forces do not determine our fate, but they build us into their own scenario, defining one or another role for us, depending on various factors. And the assumption of this will allow us to explain the behavior of people, including the will of these higher forces.
Further, let’s say that the world, at a certain stage of its development, should be such that there are, for example, slaves, a slave-owning system, that is. We need to have people who don’t have a choice. Then the world must change and slavery will be abolished. Then there must be something else, something must happen from time to time. The same wars, for example. Why, for what purpose? One can only guess. In order for humanity to gain the necessary experience, for educational purposes, to reduce the number of eaters in the end. РAmbitious plans can thus be worked out by higher forces. And a person participates in all thisт, he can’t influence it to radically change it, but he is forced to participate. Everyone has a choice есть, of where to go in a given situation, what to do and what not to do, but it is limited. And it doesn’t affect the overall scenario much. If people have to have a war, they will. ЕIf people need to suffer, they will suffer. What kind of people, where and when they will suffer, these are already details. But the overall scenario will be what it should be. And these necessary scenarios, which are subject to higher forces, can explain the behavior of people. Yes, in this way we shift the responsibility for what is happening to the higher forces, the presence of which we allow. But this is a justified action, because we see the presence of such forces in a certain manifestation. The very existence of the world indicates their presence. The only question is what are the limits and possibilities of these forces. Because even if we are guided by what we call reason, we cannot be sure that at this very moment we are not fulfilling some higher will. After all, we function according to certain natural laws that we can’t change.
Thus, the behavior of a person, especially an unconscious one, acting instinctively and guided by unconscious impulses, can turn out to be something like an experiment, when higher forces realize their plan through him. He himself is just a pawn in the script, just fulfilling a higher will. It may not sound scientific. But this may still be unscientific. And then, later, when science becomes more developed, scientific evidence for such explanations of human behavior will appear. We don’t know or even study all the higher powers. But the same instincts are the result of their influence. So maybe there’s something else we don’t know yet. Meanwhile, a person acts according to the will of higher forces and implements their plan, sometimes acting illogically, inconsistently, contrary to his own words, desires, goals. Because he is only a tool in the hands of more powerful forces. And his intelligence is not enough to act against their will.
And so, guided by this version of the influence of higher forces on our behavior, we can call higher psychology this will, this influence, such a manifestation of the laws of being unknown to us in the behavior of people. And guided by higher psychology, it is possible and necessary to look for the highest meaning in the actions of each person and all of humanity, in order to explain to yourself why they, even if they are specificй человек,, act in one way or another in certain situations. It’s like seeing God’s will in everything. We need to think about the fact that behind the actions of people there is a manifestation of a higher will, and we need to accept this. And embed it in your worldview.
Therefore, when we see that people act strangely, not at all logically, even wildly, harming themselves, including or even primarily, this can be explained, in addition to the influence of unconscious motives on them, by such a manifestation of the will of higher forces. Some global scenario is being implemented, and people are acting as actors in it, including unwitting ones. A person falls under the influence of some higher forces, for example, destructive ones, which means that he becomes an instrument of destruction. Or an object of destruction, as in the case of people who are morally broken and have fallen into a degenerate lifestyle. And through them, the will of the higher powers manifests itself in such a way that it shows everyone else what can happen to a person if he lives in a certain way. Or, on the contrary, something good is realized through a person. This is how there are rich people who have spent their entire lives making money at the expense of others, including to the detriment of others, robbing others, deceiving, using, and then decided to donate their money to something good. Why? What for? I wanted them here. You can study the logic of their motives as much as you want, including identifying unconscious motives, and allowing some mature sense of guilt as the cause. And you can say that the higher forces realized some of their own, well, if not a desire, then a vision of how the life scenario should develop in a particular case, through such an act of this person. That’s what higher psychology is all about.
I thought about higher psychology, or rather, such a psychology, which I called higher, formulated it as follows, after a long observation of strange behavior of people. Strange, that is, illogical, stupid, ill-conceived, contradictory, unnecessarily risky, in general, something that is difficult to explain from the point of view of common sense. For example, some people act foolishly when, despite all the suffering, the lessons that life teaches them, they still continue to make the same mistakes and come to the same results. They walk on the same rake. And you think that’s why this world is designed to be like this? Of course, all this can be explained by various psychological traumas, weak intelligence, unconscious motives, reflexes. But why not allow the idea that there are some higher forces, in the form of, say, the same unknown, but quite scientifically comprehensible laws, which, as if manifesting consciousness and looking at humanй material from the full height of their intellectual greatness, perhaps even perfection, begin to use a person in this way how is it possible to do this in order to work out a certain scenario, for example, to show something to other, more promising human individuals? God’s will, so to speak. Meanwhile, a person does not understand all the motives that guide them.
Higher intelligence, it exists, if you think about it that way. After all, if our intelligence exists, as we understand it, and we are part of the world, why can’t there be an intelligence that makes this whole world possible? After all, there are so many laws in it, so many complex processes and phenomena that are not easy to understand, as you can’t call it all intelligence or a product of intelligence. And indeed, this higher intelligence — this greater power — can influence people in specific ways, under certain circumstances, and for particular purposes. Especially, as I mentioned, in cases where a person lacks sufficient awareness to act based on their own reason and will.
Therefore, the unknown will, which begins to control a person at the moment or from the moment when he himself ceases to control himself and his life with the help of his will, generated by his mind, is such a force that it is difficult to measure and evaluate, but it can and should be allowed. Here, in particular, luck, some visible karmic laws, the so-called God’s help, when a person who is completely reckless, as if someone is leading him, helping him avoid various troubles, can be considered a proven proof of the presence of such a will. I’ve seen this happen when I’ve seen some drunks avoid the negative consequences of their drinking, even though they might have been hurt a thousand times in a thousand different ways. But no, something allowed them to somehow miraculously not ruin themselves. It was as if some force was keeping them out of danger, guiding them where they needed to go, not to the grave or prison. Why, this is a question for higher psychology. For the sake of their families, children, or maybe for some other purpose, for the sake of some purpose of these people, it’s hard to say. But it was clear that according to some laws they avoid tragic consequences from their behavior, which means that according to some complex laws of this world, this should have happened.
Examples when people respond to good with evil, rudeness, swinishness, meanness, betrayal, when they do not appreciate those who love them, who feed them, literally or figuratively, but instead love those who spit on them, who mock them, and other eccentricities, when people, in fact they make it worse for themselves, they show that at least such people are driven by some strange motives, unconscious, not thought out. And what are these motives? Pure biology or something even more complicated? After all, by some lawsи it becomes permissible for a personлto act not logicallyо and not reasonablyо, causing harm even to himself. It means that some higher forces, higher laws, higher intelligence are behind this in the end. Although, what does it mean, some, these are the laws of the universe, the laws of human nature. And here instincts and subconsciousness alone, in the form in which we are familiar with these things, cannot explain all these motives of people who cause surprise.
Consequently, our psychology here is not quite ordinary, but rather higher. When not only приnatural factors and logical processes known to science explain human behavior, but also sociology, which, however, is also ultimately based on biology and logic, and when not just unconscious motives manifest themselves, behind which are the most complex thought processes caused человеком by the life experience and knowledge that a person has received, but also what-then the more complex laws of life, which can only be called a manifestation of higher forces, which can be incomprehensible to our minds at all. It is as if at some point some very complex behavioral programs in people are activated, which switch them to perform a certain role in life, to perform certain tasks.
We can say that here the mysticism turns out. But if you think about what mysticism is, if not the unknown laws of this world. So, mysticism can be called something that has not yet been studied by science, but that exists, because there are forces in this world that we do not know anything about. For example, the forces that make life possible.
And so, explaining the behavior of people by the influence of higher forces on it, I use such a concept as higher psychology in order to stimulate my reasoning on the topic of higher laws of life and help people take a broader look at the laws of this world, so that they can accept the most different layouts that are only possible in this world. A sort of therapeutic philosophy is obtained. Higher forces are же the highest, complex laws of the universe. And even just thinking about them can make it much easier for us to relate to many things in life that are otherwise difficult or even impossible to accept. For example, something very traumatic, like, say, the death of children. After all, if such a thing happens in a person’s life, he can go crazy. е случится в жизни человека, он с ума может сойти. How can I accept this? Being an absolutely mentally healthy person, this is impossible. This is such grief, such pain, what acceptance, there would be at least something to find, so as not to go mad, at least some thought. And if you think about why this is acceptable in this world, why higher forces allow such tragedies to happen, why they made it possible, then you can find saving thoughts that will allow you to look at this world differently.
What we perceive as a tragedy may not truly be one — even by our own understanding of tragedy. The issue is that we don’t know the full sequence of events; we label something as tragic the moment it causes us pain. We only see the part of the world where we suffer, while the unseen part — the part that still exists — remains beyond our ability to assess. Without it, we cannot truly understand what has happened or whether the event is indeed a tragedy.
This invisible dimension of life, this hidden part of existence, holds the answers. It could clarify why higher forces orchestrate events as they do. But since we lack the ability to perceive it, and since faith alone — in any religion — is insufficient for many (some refuse to believe at all), it becomes necessary to seek discoveries that make even the most terrible things easier to comprehend.
We need these discoveries to help us reinterpret events that, due to our inherent limitations — imposed by higher forces — we instinctively perceive as negative. Until we fully understand life, ignorance will continue to breed suffering, while knowledge — whether physical or psychological — has always been the key to overcoming it.
We think about the meaning, we think about the complexity of the world, about its purpose, about the plans of higher forces for this world and for each of us, when we talk about higher psychology. We look as globally as possible at the motives of our behavior, our desires, abilities, and feelings, so as to allow for a variety of versions of why something happens the way it does. You can look at it from the point of view of religion, you can look at it from the point of view of science. The main thing is to think as broadly and systematically as possible, explaining everything that happens in this world and especially the behavior, actions of people, their fate by the influence of higher forces, the higher mind that is behind everything that makes this world possible.
Lately, I’ve been using the word “system” to describe — first and foremost for my own understanding — the influence of higher forces on our lives and destinies. I find this term more fitting. Words like “God” have been muddled by conflicting interpretations, while other terms denoting a higher power or intelligence are used less frequently and can also evoke mixed reactions. But “system” — neutral and precise — perfectly encapsulates the idea of these governing forces.
But not only such complex higher laws of the universe and the highest plan can be attributed to higher psychology. There is also something else that I call “higher psychology”. But more on that later. In the meantime, let’s talk about the manifestation of higher forces, and therefore higher psychology in our lives, having considered some patterns and suggested, from the point of view of higher psychology, what they can mean.
2. Approach to problems
So, how do we [you, I] solveм problems using the methodology of higher psychology? Any person who is faced with a particular problem of a psychological nature, it is important first of all to understand the cause and meaning of the problem. The cause is everything that happened before the problem occurred, which can be considered as factors preceding it. Even if there is no direct connection between these events that preceded the problem and the problem itself, this does not mean that it is absent. Therefore, everything that happened before the problem can be considered as the cause, in order to understand how and why this problem became possible. And the meaning of the problem is its role in our lives, this is what it can be needed and useful for. We think пabout why the problem is perceived by us or someone else at all, as a problem, what its purpose is, where it leads us, people, in order to better understand its role in this world. So, working in this way with a problem, we can operate with the knowledge we know, mostly scientific, less often everyday, in order to clarify everything for ourselves, all the patterns that are possible, identify and understand. But we can also assume, not find out, namely, assume what this problem looks like and what it is from the point of view of the whole system, the same universe, or what still exists there, which is more whole, which can be considered a higher power, which we do not yet know. Here we can imagine why someone or something came up with such a problem, so that it was even possible in this world.
The difference in approaches will be significant, the brain can give completely different sensations to a person when they think about a problem in one way or another. From the point of view of science and everyday experience, we will only talk about what is exactly known to people, in particular, to us, that is, to those who work with the problem. We will use the knowledge we know, tested, as far as possible, confirmed. But if we use the approach of higher psychology, then we can already fully philosophize, fantasize, imagining such explanations for the existing problem, such reasons and meaning for its existence, allowing what can only be possible, what our mind can give birth to. This is done until we come up with a satisfactory explanation that will calm us down, a person who is suffering because of problems. And these explanations may even help solve this problem. A person will either change their attitude to it, or start doing something to cope with this problem. And at the same time, he will see in it a special higher meaning, which will help motivate this person to take action — the main therapeutic force. One way or another, the brain will calm down, deciding that the necessary work has been done or is being done and it no longer needs to signal that everything is not in order. The brain needs to conclude for itself that everything is in order, everything is under control, everything is going as it should. A person must live, in the broad sense of the word “live”, which means-to act, to want, to dream, to satisfy their needs, to think, then everything will be all right with them. And this is exactly what a reference to something higher is needed for. Even to God, even to the laws of the universe, to the laws of life, if only it would help to look at life, at the problem as broadly as possible. Because it’s pure science, it doesn’t know everything. Pure religion calls you to believe. Which is also not suitable for everyone. Why on earth should I believe!? But the philosophical approach, which includes fantasies, free reflections, logic and just a chaotic course of thought, thoughts-this is the most important thing! Because in this case, we do not run into any restrictions. What we can imagine, we can imagine. It’s like solving problems through brainstorming, but without any restrictions-logic, conditional common sense, facts, scientific data, etc.
The nature of problems can be any. Everything that does not give rest, everything can be considered from the position of higher psychology, that is, from the position of the plan of higher forces, according to which everything is necessary for something, everything that exists and happens in this world can be somehow integrated into the fate of a person. Therefore, you need to be able to accept everything, get along with everyone, and interact with everything correctly. Therefore, we consider any events philosophically, we search in our mind for the purpose of these events. This simplifies the perception of life, no matter how it develops. Of course, the stronger the trauma caused by this or that event, the stronger the pain caused by something, the more difficult it is to find an explanation for it, it is more difficult to comprehend it from the position of higher forces, from the position of the general development of this world. Strong emotions interfere. Let’s say a person has lost someone close to them, whom they loved very much, try it, find the highest meaning in it, try it, accept it as part of the life scenario. Yes, people lose faith in everything good because of such things, they turn away from God, how can you explain anything to them here? But it is also the professionalism of a specialist to convey to a person the necessary thoughts that will calm him down. Higher psychology is the highest that allows you to admit, come up with any explanations, so that only a person accepts everything that is happening, learns to live with it, finds a way to influence it, if possible, and does not suffer because of it.
For example, we can assume that our life is just a dream that each of us sees in his own way, but we are all являемся part of the same whole consciousness. And when someone dies, they just wake up and become this whole consciousness again. And having gained the necessary experience, he looks at the dreams of other sleepers, inventing new scenarios for new dreams. I’m the one who gets this fantasy right out of practice, we really discussed it with one person, and it helped him calm down. And where is the guarantee that this can’t really be the case? After all, somehow we came up with this fantasy, we constructed it with our own minds. And where did the minds get it from? Any fantasy is part ofreality. Let it be in the form of a fantasy, it is not a material reality, but who knows in which case it can have a material embodiment. In the history of humans, much was fantasy for the time being.
It is worth thinking about such things, it is worth developing such fantasies, going beyond the known and familiar, and much becomes not so terrible, terrible, heavy, gloomy, painful as with the standard view of things. Because we experience everything all the more acutely, the more seriously we take this life, believing that everything should be exactly as we understand it, as we are used to seeing it. This is exactly what people need, such involvement in life, such a serious attitude to the fact that you know what you are used to, and therefore appreciate it, in order to enjoy life and live it fully. But when it’s hard, when it hurts, when the soul is not in place, you can remove all this seriousness, all this limited understanding. You can stop identifying yourself only with your known Self and think about who else we can be, think about who we are beyond our understanding. And what else can there be in our lives that we don’t know yet? But there may be a lot, a lot of things.
After all, our entire history has repeatedly told us and continues to tell us, and loudly and clearly, that we do not know very, very much. We don’t know much about ourselves, about this world, about the laws that exist in it. There are too many unknowns to ignore. Therefore, you should not worry so much about what is known now and what worries you. It is necessary to fantasize in order to mentally go beyond the limits of what is understood and look at disturbing things as if they are significant elements of something very large and complex, some picture, some scenario. On a large scale, our problems may seem like a mere trifle, or even something necessary and useful at all. If death bothers us, we should think about it. Not to reduce everything to dogmas, as in religion, but to think like philosophers, in order to put forward different ideas about what will happen after a person’s death and what meaning this death has, what scenario it is part of. A good Idaya will give you the necessary reassurance and confidence that everything is going well, no matter how it goes.
Some may doubt that such an approach to problems, primarily psychological, but we are talking about psychological methods, can help solve them. And this is in vain. Doubts are something that you should definitely give up in order to maximize the use of your imagination, which will work the more actively the less fear and uncertainty there will be in a person. Which is also expressed in the form of doubts. Fantasy needs freedom, not criticality. And there are more than enough reasons for this — whether we call it trust, vision, or perhaps awareness, even a sense that this technique is not just effective, but remarkably so. Indirectly, and in some ways even directly, the effectiveness of this method is supported by similar approaches used to free people from various mental afflictions. These can include anything from scientific, theoretical, or hypothetical reasoning to unscientific worldviews built on pure fantasy.
Think of mysticism, esotericism, even alchemy — countless constructs born of human imagination that, despite their lack of empirical grounding, draw people in and immerse them in comforting illusions. And if these illusions bring peace and solace, who’s to say they don’t serve as a form of psychological aid?
Consider religion, sects, and esoteric theories — all of them invent fantastical narratives and deities, urging belief in the unverifiable. Yet don’t these very things bring people comfort and peace? Doesn’t the placebo effect, too, alter physical well-being?
The truth is, much of life hinges on faith and assumption rather than absolute certainty. We each inhabit inner worlds that imperfectly mirror external reality. So why not go beyond mere belief? Why not fantasize, hypothesize, and entertain possibilities beyond our grasp — using logic to ground our faith and imagination to shape perspectives that transform our psychological state for the better?
Nothing stops us but our own willingness. The key lies in daring to reflect, speculate, and embrace unconventional ideas. Fear no discovery. Reject suffering — choose instead to fantasize! Envision higher powers; ponder the cosmos and your place within it. Harness “higher psychology” to mold a world that suits you, starting within your own mind.
Our fantasies and theories — those bridges beyond the known — can guide us not just to tranquility, but to a state of nirvana.
3. Higher Psychology
Let’s talk about the second pillar of the methodology under consideration. It is not so much a complement as a continuation of the first pillar. Only by using it do we take responsibility for determining the scenario of our life and everything that exists on ourselves, we interpret certain events in a certain way, do not just allow them, but assert, for example, when working with a client, patient, that it is just like that. СWe may have received some kind of revelation from above or invented it, but we consider it absolutely true, fanatically believing in it, so that other people we help will also accept our thoughts and ideas. We assume the role of a preacher, deciding what and why happens to us or to someone we want to help. That is, we are talking about the ability to convince, inspire.
Higher psychology, in this case, as an effective process of influencing a person, is a perfect, as far as possible, ability to form the inner world, first of all your own, and then the inner world of other people, and, of course, convincing, inspiring, reasoning, fantasizing for this purpose. In other words, in order to fully use this technique, a specialist must be able or at least try to think globally, on a large scale, systematically, conceptually, and ideologically. He must cover all spheres of life, philosophically talk about the highest meanings, the highest values, the laws of life, the universe. They should be able to inspire, persuade, be a speaker, or write down their thoughts and ideas well in order to charm people, just as various charismatic personalities do. Such a specialist explains everything and everything and connects everything with everything. And of course, he does it for a specific purpose. For example, to instill in a certain person or group of people confidence in themselves or in something, for example, that everything will be fine, so that people calm down and start acting, and really did everything to make it good. Such a specialist, like a politician, like a leader, like a philosopher, inspires confidence and optimism, speaks beautifully, adapts to the mood of people, to their desires and needs, and gives people the impression that he knows the answers to all questions or at least the way to find them.
The main distinguishing feature of this psychological technique from others is that we do not search for the truth, do not understand the causes of certain psychological patterns known to us, from the point of view of their nature, from the point of view of science — we create, create these things, that is, we interpret the reasons, we allow them from the point of view of higher forces or from your own point of view, considering yourself as a conductor of the will of higher forces, your theories and ideas, as the implementation of a higher plan. We do хthis by referring to higher forces, developing our own ideas, thoughts, and letting people know that they have a deep or high meaning, just to help people look at things, their situation, and their life as broadly and globally as possible. So that their problems do not seem too serious and big against the background of large scales. And the smaller the problem is in our worldview, the easier it is to deal with it.
We do not necessarily try to test our assumptions, theories, or ideas for truth — though under certain conditions, we might attempt to do so. Instead, we rely on people’s faith in beautiful and convenient fantasies, as well as what is called “common sense.” Through theoretical reasoning, various assumptions, logical conclusions, and so on, we sometimes present certain versions as truth simply because they resemble it or seem fitting.
We work both with the conscious mind — logically deducing, reasoning in a sensible way — and with the subconscious, using repetition, emotional influence, and even elements of hypnosis to lower the client’s critical guard. This ensures they do not scrutinize our words too closely and simply take the necessary actions for the desired effect — approvals, affirmations, and so on. The right words, the right ideas can calm, inspire, motivate, instill confidence, help someone survive, achieve something, and more.
In essence, we implant the “correct” worldview, the “right” life scenario, into people’s minds through every possible channel. And by perceiving life in a certain way, interpreting it in a particular manner, a person can feel truly great. This has always been the case — when certain ideas, whether religious, philosophical, political, or esoteric, take hold of people’s minds. A person can live their entire life with certain beliefs, feeling completely happy and achieving what they consider important. And that is far better than wasting away due to psychological struggles.
Everything is a thought, or even better, an idea. The whole world that we observe around us is a collection of ideas, a collection of thoughts, that are in our mind. It also reflects combinations of the basic element that makes up everything, including information. It doesn’t matter if it’s an atom or something more basic. Our world consists of this basic element, as a set of ideas, as an information system. One idea makes possible the existence of water, another of fire, a third of earth, and so on. Down to the person. We are all an idea, a collection of information. The main thing is that everything is thought. And we are all part of the general consciousness of the I, which is split into many individuals, which are represented in the form of various physical objects, including living people. It’s not a version, it’s not an idea, it’s just an interpretation of everything that exists. Quite, I think, reasonable. The cabal also says something similar, as far as I know. It claims that the whole world is made up of light, considering it as the basic essence of everything that exists. In this context, “light” is the supreme spiritual energy that permeates all creatures and is the source of life. But never mind. The main thing is how we can imagine everything that exists for ourselves, so that it is convenient for us to understand the world. We don’t need the truth, because everything is the truth, because everything exists. We need to formulate the truth for ourselves in a way that we can understand.
So, taking my explanation into account — if it resonates with the reader — we can say that each of us is a part of the collective consciousness, a fragment of the overarching idea that makes this life possible. I won’t attempt to prove this, because, as I’ve said before, you can arrive at such an understanding of the world and your place in it simply by choosing to. You need only decide to see the world this way.
You can frame it differently — that’s the essence of higher psychology. The key is to interpret things as you wish, so long as you operate within higher categories: global understanding, cosmic understanding. The broader your perspective, the better.
We are the embodiment of someone’s idea. The result of some design. We are an elaborate combination of the basic element of the universe. And even if we assume that the world is a chaos, that evolution is blind, all the same, everything in it exists, works, develops according to some rules. These are very reasonable, complex, and well-thought-out rules. How, tell me, if you know about them, can you not allow something higher and much more reasonable? And if we do, it makes sense for us to refer to this something in order to reflect on why certain things happen in this world. After all, if we are given the ability to form ideas for ourselves, to decide for ourselves how to look at life, at the world, and create our own inner worlds, why not use it and interpret everything as it will be convenient for us? Why seek the truth when you can invent it? Why think about how the human psyche works, why identify all the thoughts that exist in his head, especially in the subconscious существуют, which is almost impossible to understand, if these things can be formed? Higher psychology does not study the existing, but creates its own idea of how everything works! Creates in a convenient way for a person!
And in order for new thoughts to block out the influence of old ones — traumatic, unpromising, limiting-they must be stronger and more meaningful for our brain. Therefore, it makes sense to refer to something higher, to something beyond for us, which can take your breath away, which you can plunge into with your head and carefully impose it on people so that all their troubles, all their sores, and even if very serious problems simply fade against the background of more weighty ones, global items. The reasoning itself can also distract from problems, lead away from heavy thoughts, which is sometimes even more important than understanding the problem. Because, thinking about the bad, in particular, about your problem, a person will suffer and this will deprive him of the strength to work with it. And having loaded his head with other information, interesting, promising, saving, with all these arguments about the highest, eternal, he will be distracted, calm down a little or a lot, relieve tension, relax and will already be able to talk about his problem more constructively.
And in general, if you teach a person to think big, he will already begin to rethink a lot. After all, the narrower our view of the world, the stingier our picture of the world, the more significant its various details will be for us. One small mistake, which in a broad worldview means nothing, it is easy to correct or just survive, in a small and stingy world can have the size of an elephant. And it will crush the person. Therefore, it is necessary to expand his worldview, teach him to look at his life and his problems through the eyes of the whole universe. Through the eyes of higher powers. So that at least it doesn’t seem so significant, not so serious. And as a maximum, the person saw the meaning in it and accepted it as part of their life scenario.
4. Application practices
Let’s see what the practice of applying higher psychology to work with various psychological problems shows. I can’t say that I have a lot of experience using it at the moment, but it is there and it is interesting.
When I communicate with people whom I want to help deal with someмиof their psychological and sometimes other по своему характеру problems, of course, I do not hit them in the forehead with the very essence of higher psychology. I don’t tell them about any higher forces, any higher intelligence, any cosmic scale, any higher meaning, I don’t call them to immediately see the highest meaning in what is happening to them, I don’t ask them to think about the eternal, I don’t call them to philosophize about their problem at all. That would be weird for people. They wouldn’t understand it. Because people think within certain limits, within certain boundaries that they consider normal. They use common concepts when discussing something. And they are not ready to go beyond this framework right away. Tell them something that goes beyond the boundaries they know and understand, draw their attention to something that is not within the scope of their concepts, and they will begin to consider it abnormal. And accordingly, they will turn on critical thinking. They will begin to doubt many things, including the normality of the person who tells them all this, and the productive connection between the people-the specialist and his client-will either not be established or will be severed. Therefore, you can not immediately say that a person is not ready to understand. Not incapable, but that he is not ready.
Therefore, I find a point of penetration into the worldview of a person, where he is able to think beyond certain boundaries. I try to find out what kind of non-standard worldview I am dealing with when communicating with this or that person, what is so unusual in the range of his concepts, what can be used for broad philosophizing on the topic of higher forces. I probeю his limits, see where he is willing to think more broadly, what he is willing to believe, what goes beyond the usual understanding. It is very important to be able to adapt to some already large-scale beliefs of a person, to some of his faith in higher forces. For example, and this is the most common example, a person can be very religious, believe in God. And not just to believe, but to understand It in a certain way, according to some teaching. So, we can use this belief in God to discuss the influence of higher forces on our lives. The highest meaning can be discussed by talking about God.
Another person may believe in science. It is to believe, because science does not give answers to all questions, and it is fickle in its statements, all the time something new is being discovered, which changes the idea of the world’s structure. So, here, too, we are talking about faith in many ways. In truth, people who hold scientific views are not so different from religious adherents, as they often disregard the cornerstone of the scientific approach — verification. They place blind trust in various scientific sources, even in individual scientists, despite the fact that these very scientists are supposed to rigorously validate information — which they don’t always do.
But that’s beside the point. What truly matters is how we adapt to the prevailing worldview we already hold — to our inherent beliefs and our predisposition to interpret events in a way that aligns with our existing framework. This inclination allows us to perceive the influence of higher forces on the world around us, and specifically, on our own lives. By doing so, we can guide ourselves toward a broader understanding of our problems, making them easier to accept and, ultimately, resolve.
Everyone has some kind of faith in something global. Some are interested in religion, others in science or philosophy; some delve into esotericism, while others explore Kabbalah and similar teachings. There are many of these teachings, and one could get tired of trying to understand and list them all. However, each of them is interesting and useful in its own way. It doesn’t matter which teaching is right or wrong, what is true in one teaching and what is false in another. People seek salvation, comfort, confidence, meaning, and purpose in all these things, creating their own worlds with their help, and immersing themselves in nirvana to achieve the necessary spiritual comfort. They have always done this throughout the history of mankind. Everyone needs special worlds and great forces behind these worlds to endure the hardships of life, tragic events, and to find meaning in something. Even the great and powerful have always needed their own worlds, in which they saw themselves as the very best, so their entire environment consisted mainly of those who supported the illusion of these worlds and did not destroy them. And if these worlds do not lead too far away from any objective reality, then let them be; let them help people live and be happy. Immersing oneself in such a world is like taking a magic pill that transports you to a special place, allowing you to think the way you want to think. It creates pleasant feelings and fosters a comfortable psychology for life.
For example, if a person is a believer, you can ask them what God’s plan might be that allowed them to experience a problem that now troubles them. What are God’s plans for this person? What does He want from them while leading them through such trials? Or, regarding the tragedy that has befallen a person, what might its meaning be? How can they accept it in order to stay close to God, not break down, and not turn to the side of evil? This is the way to think about it. It is essential to reason in this manner. Reasoning helps you arrive at a more convenient perspective on the problem. A philosophical approach and philosophical dialogue are necessary, even when discussing religion.
Whatever a person knows and о чем бы он thinks about, he must reason and reflect in order to understand more and feel less. Thinking must work. Thinking is easier to control, conscious, logical thinking. And feelings are more complicated. Therefore, such philosophical reasoning will heal, helping to understand something as it should be understood, so that it becomes easier, better. And the psychologist can make the necessary suggestion at the right moment, saying that this is exactly the goal pursued by God, if He allowed this to happen. You can explain it somehow, you can not explain it, suggestions usually do not explain, just say clearly, clearly and confidently that this is what God intended! So we have to get along with it, we have to accept it. Or maybe do something. Depending on the issue being discussed in this way. And that’s all, a person will form a convenient point of view on their problem in order to accept it or calmly and confidently begin to solve it.
You can approach different problems through conversations about God. Here’s one option you can use: encourage a person to put themselves in God’s place and consider their problem from the perspective of the Creator. Let them abstract from the problem and look at it from the outside, from the position they accept — in this case, from the perspective of God — to reflect on why such situations or incidents that have happened to them are permissible. We only know what we know, while God has His own plans and His own understanding. He guides each person as He sees fit. A believer facing a problem or even a tragedy should contemplate this. Add a little philosophy to your faith and think about what God’s plans might be for you, since you have to go through all this; you can afford to do so.
You can also engage with science. It is not difficult to challenge the worldview of a person who trusts only scientific facts. It is enough to invite them to invent or explore a theory or hypothesis that goes beyond what is currently known to science, and encourage them to think about why the world is arranged this way and why certain events occur, particularly in their own life. Science is science, but what does it matter how we formulate the existence and workings of higher forces? As long as it helps to view the problem as broadly as possible. When a person is drawn into reasoning, they can find logical justifications for the necessity of what has happened to them. The psychologist only needs to observe which interpretations are most acceptable to the person, so that later some of them can be presented as absolute truths, helping the individual shape their perspective on their experiences, problems, or situations. Even if it is not the truth, but merely a theory or hypothesis, it must be presented by the psychologist confidently and boldly enough to be imprinted in the client’s consciousness and subconscious. This will create the desired healing effect, as it will become the norm for the person or provide them with a vision of how to improve something in their life.
What does a lazy brain need? It craves a strong impression to be jolted awake — that’s what. It is essential to present an idea that will surprise the person and encourage them to accept a new perspective, or, to put it mildly, to open themselves up to new thoughts, so they can move forward and not suffer, even if terrible things have happened in their life. The brain may urge them to give up, break down, and accept the role of a victim because that can seem easier. Weak solutions are often the easiest solutions. Our body and brain, in particular, are drawn to what is light and simple. In higher psychology, we reason, reflect, and find a unique combination of thoughts or the words that convey those thoughts, which we instill in a person’s mind. This way, we encourage their brain to choose to live and fight on, allowing them to continue working on a viable, optimistic path.
So, no matter what pillar a person prays to, what things he believes in, what picture of the world he has, the main thing is the scale. It should be the maximum. The highest is also the highest because it is all-encompassing. A person needs to be brought to it so that he thinks systematically, and not as narrowly as usual, focusing on his problem and not seeing anything around, not reasoning in the context of time, not thinking about the possible benefits that can be even in the most terrible situation. You need to push the limits of perception and evaluation, that’s what you can call it. And you need to push them apart at the expense of the higher, to which a person is already addicted or close. Well, then it may turn out to offer him something new, to interest him in something else, something higher, some ideas, concepts that even more scale his thinking. Then many of his problems will fall off of themselves, like dirt from shoes if you tap them.
A person needs to be able to fight against themselves — against the part of themselves that opposes life, happiness, and activity; against what one might call the destructive forces within. You could also say that this is about confronting the “devil” inside, which suggests decisions that lead to weakness, pain, suffering, and destruction. We must choose to stand on the side of life, happiness, prosperity, and goodness when seeking the right perspective on what is breaking us, in order to survive and not succumb. We form a strong worldview that helps us navigate our life path with optimism and confidence. The psychologist, in this context, must radiate a powerful mindset. They must embody this vital energy, this scale of thinking, and optimism. There should be no weak points on their part; they should only embody what helps to act, fight, seek solutions — in a word, to live.
5. Practice suggestion
Any of our states, behaviors, or even trains of thought are partly innate — conditioned genetically (transmitted from parents) and instinctively (inherent to the entire species) — and partly acquired programs that are activated in a person as needed, when certain stimuli prompt them to remember something, feel something, or react to something. This is where natural reactions and learned behaviors come into play, whether they are shaped by experience, knowledge, or various habitual patterns of behavior. Now, we will discuss how you can activate certain thoughts and behaviors in people — and in yourself — by inspiring them with specific thoughts, attitudes, and ideas. This means embedding information in their minds that will influence their thoughts and actions, bypassing their critical thinking.
Suggestions in higher psychology play an important, but not decisive role. The main thing that is needed here is, of course, beliefs, when a person masters new thoughts through the conscious sphere, gives birth to new thoughts, expanding his worldview, giving everything a higher meaning. Because the result achieved through consciousness is more stable. But the subconscious mind, when we introduce something with the help of suggestion, bypassing consciousness, it is less reliable. Something will penetrate deep into the mind, settle down somewhere, then somehow affect the person, be replaced by something, supplemented, mixed with some thoughts, forgotten, and then remembered again, in general, this is a difficult controlled process. Therefore, there is less hope for suggestions than for conscious perception of information. Well, actually, if it were different, people would learn with the help of hypnosis and suggestions, and not with the help of explanations, logic, reasoning, analysis. The whole educational process would have been built differently. But no, we learn as we should-only will, concentration, understanding, logic lead us to stable thoughts, good memory and stable skills. Therefore, this was and still is preferred. Including in higher psychology.
Nevertheless, psychology is psychology, and not everything in it is based on logic and common sense. On the contrary, most of what we call the psyche is not at all logical, not reasonable, not something that is easy to explain and understand. This is exactly what unconscious processes are, when a huge number of thoughts interact with each other in an unknown way outside the field of our attention and then give us something in the form of feelings, intuitive insights, guesses, motives that we are already trying to logically justify, imagine, understand. So sometimes you just can’t do without suggestions. Sometimes it depends only on them whether a person accepts new thoughts or not. And, accordingly, they, suggestions, affect the emotional state and behavior of a person. Therefore, a psychologist, in order to master higher psychology, must be able to inspire. Reason, explain, and inspire. He should be an ideologue, a hypnotist, a preacher, as far as possible. So let’s take a look at important suggestion skills to know how to do it. And then we’ll see how this can be applied in higher psychology.
Suggestion methodology
Suggestion is a psychological process, that is, mostly unconscious for the person receiving information. It involves influencing the consciousness and will of a person through his sensory sphere to a greater extent than through the mind, in order to instill in him certain thoughts, beliefs or feelings. That is, we bypass the attention and critical understanding of a person, in fact, we introduce thoughts to him, through hints, emotions, gestures, ambiguous words, unsubstantiated, but firm, emotional statements, in order to fix them in his subconscious. That is, we make sure that he accepts our thoughts, which are sent to him mainly through words, without thinking about them.
Basic aspects of suggestion
1. Principles of suggestion:
— Psychological attitude: Suggestion is effective when the subject is ready to receive information, and such readiness that he craves it. Therefore, in order to create a fertile ground fora person to accept our thoughts, we его предварительно preheat it. ПThrough, say, such conversations, in which we constantly repeat to himмthat now we will tell him something very important, which will directly completely change his worldview. To make him wait for it. Surely you have noticed this in some teachers and speakers, how they warm up the audience when they constantly repeat that now you will learn this, you will learn this. And people start to get a little euphoric with the anticipation of something special. They are just waiting for some sacred knowledge to be revealed to them right now. Someone ismore euphoric, someone is weaker, waiting for this special information, but this warm-up definitely works. And then, when such information is released, people automatically attach важноеimportance to it. They had been waiting for her, waiting for her. Therefore, it is easier for such information to get into the subconscious of people, bypassing critical thinking. The psychological attitude that you are about to be told something like this creates a need that suggestion can satisfy when it is expressed in a clear, firm and simple form, without a shadow of doubt, without hesitation or explanation. This is how it works! Period!
— Conformity: People are more susceptible to suggestion in the context of emotional heating and imitation. Let me clarify. To effectively use conformity in the process of suggestion, it is important to understand that conformity is the tendency of people to adapt to the opinions and actions of the group. Suggestion, in turn, as we already know, implies uncritical perception of information, which allows you to change a person’s behavior and beliefs. When a person is in a group, their susceptibility to suggestion increases, especially if the group consists of a larger number of participants. This is because pressure from others can increase emotional responses and reduce critical thinking.
To use conformity for suggestion, it is necessary to create an atmosphere of trust and agreement in the group. But this is if there is a group. And if it doesn’t exist? If a specialist communicates with a person alone? What then? Then we refer to authorities, to common truths, to the opinion of the crowd. For example, you can use authority figures that have weight for a person. Or you can make emotional appeals, linking them with the opinion of the majority, which will contribute to the formation of a positive perception of the suggested information. People think this way, people think that way. Put more emotions into it вложитьand the information will fly into the person’s head. It is also worth considering the individual characteristics of people: for those who are more susceptible to suggestion, it is better to use positive emotions, while for those who are less confident–, it is better to use a more persistent approach with elements of fear or pressure. If you tell a person that, for example, not following some laws of life threatens him with such troubles, such negative consequences, as it has already happened with other people, then he can believe it. And if you put pressure psychologically to inspire, then we can say that if a person does not agree with some rules of life, does not follow them, society will punish him so and so. Again, by referring to examples, including fictional ones, with other people.
It is important to overcome internal barriers, such as critical perceptions or ethical norms, for suggestion to be successful and effective. It is not necessary for a person to think critically; they should not be more afraid to accept a new thought than to reject it. Therefore, we need to engage authorities, charismatic personalities, and various communities or groups of people who already live and think differently, in order to instill the necessary thoughts in a person’s mind, overcoming all their resistance.
2. Types of suggestion:
— Direct: Information is transmitted directly and openly, for example, by using a command or instruction. Here the firmness and self-confidence of a specialist in higher psychology plays an important role. It is desirable that he is charismatic, able to choose words, both for writing and for transmitting information by voice. This is how stage hypnotists should be, who give clear, clear, confident commands and many people listen to them. But still, this suggestion will not work with everyone. Some people will resist him to the last, not listening to the specialist in anything.
— Indirect: Suggestion is made through hints or indirect messages, which makes it less obvious to the subject. Here is a suggestion that you often have to use. Not all people like it when they are directly inspired with something, give commands, make confident and categorical statements. People are starting to resist, go to hell, they say we have our own opinion. Or, we won’t do that. Or, we believe otherwise. In general, the ego works. Critical thinking works. All sorts of biases, triggers are triggered. In general, direct suggestions don’t work with them. But indirectly, they are all ready to accept.
Here are some good examples of indirect suggestion
Situation with the child:
A mother says to her crying five-year-old son: “Vovochka, let me blow on your knee, and everything will pass.” Here, the mother uses indirect suggestion to calm the child down and help him cope with the pain. She lets him know that if you blow on the sore spot, the pain will go away. And not only does the child calm down, believing that they are being helped, helped, but the pain can really pass. The suggestion will work.
Action Hint:
Mom can say: “Now my father will come home from work, but there is no bread.” This gentle reference to the lack of bread encourages the child to solve the problem on their own and go get it. There is no direct command or request, but such an idea is indirectly triggered in the person’s head. That I should go.
Questions as a method of suggestion:
The question is “How long will it take you to get this job done?” focuses the interlocutor’s attention on the need to complete the task, and not on doubts about its necessity. That is, how it turns out that the question of whether to do it or not has already been decided. Definitely do! The only question now is how long it will take to complete the task.
Using a compliment:
A teacher might say to a student, “You’re doing so well in math that I’m sure you can easily solve this problem, too.” A compliment creates a positive perception of the student’s own abilities and motivates them to complete the task. We deliberately exaggerate a person’s abilities so that they try to meet our expectations and produce high results.
Implication:
Phrase: “When will you call me?” implies that the call will occur, and thus creates a wait for an action without explicitly specifying it. Again, the need to call is laid in the person’s head secretly, as if he already agrees to do it.
Negative paradoxical suggestion:
The phrase “Don’t think about the white monkey” makes people think about the white monkey, demonstrating how a ban can lead to the opposite result. It works well with people who like to be stubborn, argue, disagree with anything, and do things their own way.
Hint of actions:
A parent can say to a child, “Tomorrow we will have a day without gadgets.” This creates an expectation and encourages the child to make their own decisions about how to spend time without screens. This also works great with adults. All these fasts, rituals when you can eat one thing and not another, this is all an example of indirect suggestions. It seems like you’re supposed to do nothing on certain days. And people don’t. Without thinking about why this is the case. Some religion forbids eating pork fat, and people don’t eat it. They don’t even try to figure out why they can’t, they just can’t. And you can make up such rules yourself. Determining when and what will happen. For example, take a date from the ceiling and say that according to some esoteric data, on this day all people will be in a good mood. And such a thought can enter a person. He really will have more fun that day.
Parallel story:
For example, a coach can tell you about another athlete who overcame difficulties and achieved success: “I remember how one of my players could not win the competition for a long time, but after hard training, he became a champion. “This indirectly inspires the athlete with self-confidence and the need for perseverance. Others could, and you can. Well, think for yourself how many such fictional stories you can come up with, for any situation, to inspire someone that with such an approach to business, they can do anything, even move mountains.
Using the context:
In a conversation about health, you can say: “Many people notice that after тогоthey started playing sports, they feel better.” This creates an association between physical activity and positive life changes. The same logic applies, that there is confirmed data, that this is the way to achieve such and such a result. We indirectly inspire the belief that certain actions produce certain results. And faith allows people to achieve crazy results.
Such examples of indirect suggestion exist. Okay, let’s move on. We look at how else you can inspire people with different thoughts.
— Autosuggestion: This is the process by which a person inspires certain ideas or states within themselves. A good example of autosuggestion is the story of the ancient Greek orator and statesman Demosthenes. Demosthenes faced significant challenges from childhood: he was a sickly child, suffered from stuttering and nervous tics, and was also afraid to speak in public. However, his desire to become an outstanding speaker was so strong that he used autosuggestion to overcome his shortcomings. He employed the following methods of autosuggestion:
1. Spoke with stones in his mouth: In order to improve his diction and learn to speak clearly, he took stones in his mouth and tried to pronounce the words loudly, shouting over the noise of the sea.
2. Created stressful situations: Demosthenes hung a sharp sword from the ceiling so that it would stab him when his shoulder twitched. It forced him to concentrate and overcome his fear.
Thanks to such autosuggestion methods, he was able not only to overcome his physical disabilities, but also to become one of the most famous speakers of his time.
Or let’s also imagine a professional athlete, such as a gymnast, who is preparing for an important competition. He understands that his success depends not only on physical fitness, but also on the psychological state. And he uses such methods of autosuggestion:
1. Visualizing success: The athlete makes time for meditation and visualization. Every day, he closes his eyes and imagines how he performs his elements at a high level, while feeling confident and happy from a successful performance. He imagines every move, every turn, every stance.
2. Positive Affirmations: He also uses affirmations such as “I am strong”, “I am ready”, “I can do it”. He repeats these phrases before training sessions and competitions, strengthening his self-confidence. Repeat the same thing a thousand times, and your brain will start thinking that there is some truth in it.
So in the end, what? And the fact that when the day of the competition comes, this athlete feels confident and calm. Through autosuggestion, he overcomes fears and doubts that could hinder him. At the psychological level, it overcomes, not so much through visible and clear logic, but through unconscious thoughts. As a result, he shows his best results and reaches high places in competitions. Not to say that this is a key success factor, although who knows how to measure it to know for sure, but it is definitely important. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the athlete has the right internal attitudes. And in real life, not only for the athlete, but for everyone in general. Everyone who wants to live a decent life.
For a specialist in higher psychology, it is only important to set a goal for the person they are working with. It is necessary to offer the client some attitudes that he will inspire himself, considering them acceptable to himself. The methodology of the same affirmations can be explained like this, but оas you can see, it’s not complicated and let it work. And the specialist only checks the client’s discipline, offering him to report on the work done, both in writing and orally. To avoid the fact that the client starts whining, they say, these damn affirmations of yours don’t work, no matter how many things I haven’t said to myself, no effect. These doubts and skepticism should be helped to overcome the client, so that he does not go limp. Let him continue to work with affirmations until a tangible result appears. We need toть ensure that the client performs autosuggestion frequently and efficiently, reminding them that it is important. And insisting on it. Otherwise, why do you need a specialist? The client can read about how to do this in books like this. And a specialist needs to ensure that a person not only knows how to do it, but also does it properly.
Stages of the suggestion process
The suggestion process can be broken down into several key stages:
1. Attracting attention: You need to capture the subject’s attention so that they don’t get distracted by other things. When you work with a person, it seems that he is not distracted by anything, all his attention is directed at you. But this is an erroneous opinion. A person can fly in the clouds, think about something of their own, and not hear even half of what is being said to them. And understand even less. Just because he is not focused, not interested in communication. Of course, we can say that if a person is not attentive, somewhere out there in another place with his thoughts, he is already positioned for suggestions, he is already in a trance. Talk and tell him something, and let him not think aboutit, let в фоновом режимеhim perceive everything in the background, this is what is needed to bypass the conscious censor and gain a foothold in his subconscious. So it is, if you do not take into account the fact that when a person is immersed in other thoughts, he will not perceive our background information properly. Something can and will get into him, it should, but the main thing for him will be his thoughts, which he actively drives over his head, not paying attention to us. But we still need a person to focus more on our message, even if it is intended for his subconscious, but nevertheless, at least somehow, he should hear us. Therefore, it is necessary to attract his attention by sorting out different emotional moments in his story, telling about yourself, voicing different stimuli if you communicate live, or writing to him about what he might be hooked on if the communication is remote, so that something interests him, something may frighten, anger, amuse. So that he sets up his senses for us, and not something else.
2. Reduction of Conscious Control: To achieve this, it is necessary to distract the client from analyzing what is happening, so they cannot resist the information. They should be attuned to its perception but not to its reflection. Reducing conscious control for suggestion can be accomplished through various techniques designed to diminish critical thinking and increase receptivity. These include hypnosis and suggestive techniques that help deepen relaxation and activate internal resources. Meditation and relaxation practices also aid in reducing stress and enhancing openness to suggestions. The use of music and sound effects creates a calming atmosphere, while establishing a trusting relationship between the suggestor and the recipient increases the effectiveness of the impact.
In my practice, I like to distract people from critically perceiving information by engaging them in pleasant conversations. I ask them about their desires, dreams, and positive memories from their lives, as well as what they can take pride in. I also praise them for certain qualities, actions, abilities, and achievements. I share some of my own ideas that align with their interests. I reassure them that they will succeed, that everything will be fine, and that they will achieve many things. People notice that I am well-disposed toward them, that I respect and recognize them, and that I genuinely want to help. As a result, they relax and begin to trust me. It is important to be honest and have pure intentions to appear sincere. When people sense this sincerity, they become more willing to accept any information.
3. Suggestion formulation: Clearly articulating commands or instructions for the subject is the next step. You can’t put complex things, complex words, or complex verbal constructions in the subconscious mind. Commands and instructions should be simple. Like the choruses of songs, like memes, like proverbs and sayings, even a child should understand them. And they must be clear, affirmative, without a shadow of doubt, without any reservations or other things that can interfere with their perception and following them. No “maybe”, “probably”, “partially”, just a complete, unambiguous, uncompromising statement. We tell peopleуthat, for example, they will recover tomorrow or that they will do something, say, pass an exam, lift the right weight at a competition, or go and meet a girl/guy, we say without any assumptions. That is, without any, doubt, you will probably do it, most likely you will recover. Or you will recover in the near future, without specifying a time frame. That is, we leave no room for doubt and interpretation of our messages. Otherwise, their strength will decrease.
Of course, those familiar with the technique of Ericksonian hypnosis will say that doubts can also play a role in this process, allowing for negotiation with a person’s subconscious rather than simply imposing something on them. This is indeed true and can be effectively utilized. Everything can be used. Our main goal is to create in a person’s mind the reality they need — comfortable, motivating, calming, and happy, depending on the situation. So if the Ericksonian approach helps us achieve this, then we should embrace it. In higher psychology, we are creators, not just researchers. We use everything at our disposal to shape the reality we desire in people’s minds, as well as in our own. Anything that is available can be beneficial. Ericksonian hypnosis, of course, is also suitable for higher psychology.
Unlike traditional hypnosis, which often involves directive commands — commands or orders issued by the authority figure, in this case, the specialist, that are expected to be followed by the subordinate, or client — Ericksonian hypnosis employs a more gentle and unobtrusive interaction. It uses indirect commands and metaphors to engage with the subconscious mind, allowing the client to interpret and accept the proposed ideas independently. Instead of direct instructions, as seen in traditional hypnosis, a more subtle and unobtrusive approach is utilized.
For example, instead of saying, “You’re relaxing, “the hypnotherapist might phrase it as,“I wonder how your body might start to relax when you listen to my voice.” This formulation allows the client to decide for themselves how they will respond to the suggestion, which creates a sense of control and security. Or you can say, “when you decide to relax,” we will continue to work with you. In this case, a person is not forced, is not encouraged, he is led to the right decision, action.
Another example might include the use of metaphors. A hypnotherapist can tell a story about how a person overcomes obstacles on the way to their goal. In the process of telling a story, they may say, “Imagine going down this path and finding new strength in yourself to eventually achieve your goal.” This indirect suggestion directs the client’s attention to their internal resources and capabilities, without requiring them to act directly.
These examples show how Ericksonian hypnosis uses language and metaphors to achieve changes in the client’s subconscious mind, allowing them to find their own solutions and adapt to new conditions. Let’s go back to this method later and discuss it in more detail. In higher psychology, it can be very useful in cases where traditional suggestion commands with people do not work. In the meantime, we will consider the next stage of the suggestion process.
4. Latent period: The time during which the distraction of consciousness continues for the successful implementation of suggestion. At this stage, the suggestion object’s attention is focused on the proposed information, which is achieved by reducing the criticality of perception and analysis. An important aspect of the latent period is that during this time, the level of conscious control decreases, which allows information to enter the psyche unhindered. The latent stage in the process of suggestion can be recognized by several key features. First, during this period, there is a decrease in the criticality of perception, when a person is less inclined to analyze and doubt the information received. If we see that a person does not ask questions, does not think, his mood does not worsen, then we can continue to upload the necessary information to him, programming his subconscious. In general, this state is often accompanied by changes in breathing and muscle tone, which may indicate relaxation and immersion in a deeper state of perception. The person seems to be quite soft at this moment, reacts to words with passive consent, showing a minimum of emotions and not nodding very actively, as journalists do when actively listening, but only calmly doing it from time to time, making it clear that they agree with the specialist. At such a moment, you can calmly and confidently give the necessary settings to this person. For example, telling him that he is able to solve all his problems, he has enough abilities for this, so he will do everything in the near future, everything that is necessary. And he will.
If you communicate with someone remotely, in writing — as I do — this state [the latent period] is reflected in calm, laconic messages. The person responds with short, emotionally neutral sentences, indicating a relaxed state where they aren’t actively processing things deeply. They don’t overthink what they’re reading or feel compelled to engage further — they simply take in the information without dwelling on it.
Secondly, the latent stage is characterized by an increase in the latent period of conscious response. This means that the person may not immediately respond to the suggestion, allowing the information to be gradually absorbed. Therefore, we do our job-we load the person’s subconscious mind with the necessary information, thus sowing the seed, and then we will need time for it to germinate and eventually blossom. This requires patience. Don’t jump to conclusions about whether our suggestion worked or not. It will work when the time comes. I had the feeling that after about a month, people told me what I told them a month earlier. At first, they did not take it, did not agree with it, could criticize my message, and then they themselves began to adhere to this point of view. And even imperceptibly. They’d forgotten I’d told them that. Moreover, it was not always just such an ideal suggestion, which we are considering here. People at that time were critical of the information I sent them, and it still worked. By observing the behavior and reactions of the subject of suggestion, you’ll notice they become more receptive to external cues and less critical of the content. Once we see that the person offers no resistance — doesn’t overthink, ask questions, argue, or express doubt — we should seize this opportunity to reinforce the desired suggestions, rephrasing them in different ways.
This transitional state creates ideal conditions for successfully implanting ideas or attitudes, as the mind is particularly open to influence during such periods.
However, the latent stage must conclude smoothly to reinforce the suggested content and reduce the chance of resistance. To achieve this, end with something pleasant — a statement the person will unquestionably accept, a universal truth that shifts their focus away from your suggestions.
The key is to leave the suggestions untouched by critical thought. The final impression should be a positive, external idea — something that feels satisfying yet doesn’t trigger recall of the implanted material. This way, the person remembers only the agreeable parting thought, not the process itself.
This stage is pivotal in suggestion, ensuring seamless interaction between the influencer and the recipient. The outcome? The person feels uplifted, appreciative of the interaction, and their mind remains occupied with anything but the suggestions.
5. End of Exposure: So, we will emphasize this in a separate paragraph, reiterating that at the end of the suggestion process, there should be a transition to another topic or a complete conclusion of communication after implementation. A person does not need to dwell on what we have suggested to them; therefore, it is important to shift from discussing what was said or written to conversations on other topics, or to interrupt communication altogether so that the person can switch their focus to something else. This way, our suggestions will be embedded in the person’s subconscious without interference.
Psychological mechanisms
Let us also pay attention to the fact that temptation is based on the interaction of various mental processes. This is not as important as understanding the principles of suggestion itself, but… let them be. And here we are talking about such mechanisms as:
— Neurophysiological mechanisms: Suggestion is associated with the formation of a dominant in the cerebral cortex, which leads to changes in behavior and perception. This is so that you understand that we are not talking about some esoteric things that have not been proven by any science, but about quite scientific ones. It is clear that science does not know everything, but it knows this much. So, suggestions are really something that works from the point of view of science, which really affects the work of the brain.
— Critical perception: The effectiveness of suggestion depends on the level of criticality of the object to the received information. The less critical you are, the more susceptible you are to suggestion. Well, this is, in fact, what we are generally considering suggestions for. There are people who do not want to talk about anything at all, but they swallow any suggestions with pleasure, without any deliberation. They do not want они to design their inner world together with or without a specialist in such a way that it is convenient and useful for them, and that it helps them to strive for their goals and achieve them in the external world. Well, they are not inclined to think, they do not like such an occupation, such work. But suggestions suit them. Then they need to provide these suggestions. At the level of criticality, it is just reduced for those who do not want, do not like to reason, read think. So, for them, suggestions are what they need.
The methodology of suggestion is not so much a complex process as it is one that requires a certain level of confidence from the specialist to make their words impactful, as well as patience to persistently reinforce all the necessary thoughts in people’s minds. As you can see, this process involves many psychological factors and stages, or, you might say, different approaches. However, the goal remains the same: to instill the right belief in the client’s subconscious in order to shape their worldview in such a way that their psychological problem is resolved. To achieve this, a person must stop perceiving it as a problem. They need to find meaning in what is happening to them, recognize the benefits, and understand where their life is leading, in order to think practically.
Let’s now take a closer look at the Erickson hypnosis method, as a way to inspire people with the right thoughts. This is a special technique that, in my opinion, deserves special attention. In higher psychology, it can be used to inspire people with high ideas.
Erickson’s hypnosis
So, this type of hypnosis, developed by the American psychiatrist Milton Erickson, differs from classical hypnosis in a more gentle and non-directive approach [the interlocutor himself searches for answers to his questions and makes decisions himself], based on establishing contact with the client’s unconscious and using his own resources to solve problems. We do not impose anything, but suggest that a person should look for solutions in a certain area. In our case, we talk about the plan of the higher forces and offer people different ideas to accept, which reflect the will of the higher forces, reflect the highest meaning in what happens to people.
Basic principles of Erickson’s hypnosis:
Non-directive: Instead of direct suggestions, the hypnotherapist uses indirect suggestions, metaphors, stories, and other techniques that allow the client to independently come to the necessary conclusions and changes. In the context of higher psychology, we simply offer people ideas related to the influence of higher forces on our lives, with their plan, with the meaning that is in everything that happens to us. And the person just looks at what to accept from this, what to agree with.
Using client resources: Ericksonian hypnosis assumes that each person has all the necessary resources to solve their problems. And this is the absolute truth. Life will not create problems for a person that he cannot solve. Problems are sent to us for growth and development, not to break us, so they cannot be too much for us. You can consider this an axiom [a statement of a theory that is accepted as true within the framework of this theory without the requirement of proof and is used to prove its other provisions]. So, the goal of the therapist, in our case, is a specialist in higher psychology — to help the client gain access to their resources and activate them. To do this, it is necessary to instill in a person faith in his own capabilities. This is what we do when we say that he himself can understand everything, feel everything, in relation to the higher forces that are trying to realize their plan through him. He just needs to listen to himself. We inspire a person to believe in the influence of higher forces [of the system] on his life, encouraging him to find evidence of this in himself — in his thoughts and feelings.
Individual approach: Также This technique also teaches you to adapt to a person, which is also what we need in higher psychology. The therapist adapts techniques and techniques, in this case Ericksonian hypnosis, to the individual characteristics of each client, taking into account their personality, experience and needs. Well, I wrote about this in the beginning when I said that we adapt the idea of higher powers to the beliefs that a particular person adheres to. What is true for him, we will use as a demonstration of the manifestation of higher forces.
Rapport and collaboration: An important aspect is to establish a trusting relationship between the therapist and the client, based on mutual understanding and cooperation. Here the Erickson method is no different from our approach, and in general, to be honest, any psychological method requires trust, cooperation, otherwise you will not convey anything to a person.
Trance as a natural state: Erickson believed that trance is a natural state that we experience in everyday life, for example, when we are thinking, dreaming, or watching an interesting movie, forgetting about what is happening around us. Yes, we all experience this state from time to time, when, let’s say, we start flying in the clouds. Here, in Erickson’s hypnosis, the therapist helps the client to deepen this state and use it for therapeutic purposes. In our higher psychology, this is also necessary. Therefore, it is important that the client is relaxed and ready to accept our information about the role of higher forces in their life.
Ericksonian hypnosis techniques:
Trance Induction: The therapist uses various techniques to help the client enter a trance state, such as gaze fixation, relaxing suggestions, monotonous speech, and others. I will not describe them now, so as not to repeat what you can already find on the web. But we will further consider them in concrete examples of solving various psychological problems with the help of higher psychology, and in particular, with the help of suggestions, and specifically using the technique of Eric basic hypnosis.
Indirect suggestions: Instead of direct instructions about what to do or feel, the therapist uses indirect suggestions that imply the desired result, but do not impose it. That’s why we began to consider the Erickson approach separately. It is important for us to be able to indirectly inspire people with our idea of higher forces, about the influence of the system on their lives. You will see this in the examples.
Metaphors and Stories: Telling stories and metaphors that reflect the client’s situation and offer possible solutions helps bypass conscious resistance and address the unconscious directly. Any stories that show that nothing in a person’s life just happens, there is a higher meaning behind everything, they will suit us.
Using the client’s language: The therapist tries to use language and expressions that are familiar and understandable to the client, which helps establish rapport and deepen trance. This seems to be the third time we have repeated this. Because it’s important.
The “binding” technique: The therapist associates the desired behavior or condition with the client’s existing experience or habits, which makes it easier to achieve. That is, in this case, using this method in higher psychology, we make it clear to the client that some of his skills, abilities, and experience are a good start for achieving certain goals that are relevant to him. We set these goals either together, or if the client doesn’t want to think about it, we decide for ourselves how good their life should be. And we show them what can bring them closer to it. How he should coordinate his actions with the plan of the higher powers, so that everything will be fine for him.
How does an Erickson hypnosis session work:
Let’s take a look at the practice and think about how to apply it to higher psychology. СеансAn Ericksonian hypnosis session usually begins with a conversation in which the therapist learns about the client’s problem and goals. That is, a person’s vision of their situation and their desires are revealed. The therapist then helps the client enter the trance state using various techniques, which we have described and will see later in the examples with suggestions. During trance, the therapist uses indirect suggestions, metaphors, and other techniques to help the client access their resources and solve the problem. After the session, the client returns to his normal state, feeling relaxed and rested. Everything is simple. You just need to play everything properly.
Advantages of Erickson’s hypnosis:
Soft and safe: The non-directive approach makes this method of hypnosis milder and safer than classical hypnosis. Therefore, we considered it for ourselves, as a separate method of suggestion.
Effectiveness: Erickson’s hypnosis can be effective in solving a wide range of problems, such as anxiety, depression, phobias, addictions, psychosomatic disorders, and other similar mental illnesses. But in our case, in the case of higher psychology, we need to take only methods of suggestion from this method — not direct, not rude, not directive.
Individual approach: The method takes into account the individual characteristics of each client, which increases its effectiveness. Here we can say that in general, any individual approach to something will be more effective than something mass, averaged, generalized.
More about suggestions
I also want to say the following about suggestions: they occur with any more or less intense communication between people and even with the usual consumption of content. Something always penetrates the subconscious mind, even without any effort on the part of both receiving and transmitting information. The topic is only important. You need to choose a topic so that the brain is tuned not to everything in a row, but to what will be important for it. What we will make important to him. And then suggestion will occur only due to the very process of consuming information. Even now, when reading this book, the reader perceives some of the information through his consciousness, through logic, some passes into the subconscious without any processing-critical, logical, analytical, but something can fly by without settling in the head at all, being, for example, noticed. Although, I think, the subconscious mind absorbs everything. What has passed the conscious sphere will still settle in the subconscious. But we don’t know for sure. These are my guesses.
Be that as it may, the point is to surround yourself with some idea, so that it is constantly discussed, to read about it, watch it, listen to it, think about it, then it will firmly take root in your head. If пyou constantly think about it, read about it, and tell your brain to always be loaded with it, then both on a conscious and subconscious level, it will do its job. In our case, this is the idea of the influence of higher forces on a person’s life, the plan of higher forces, the highest meaning, so that we can decide for ourselves why certain events occur in our lives. I repeat, the goal of higher psychology is not to study, not to discover, not to find out, but to form. Form the truth, come up with meaning, decide what will be the cause of a particular problem from the point of view of the entire system, read Genesis. And also to think out and decide how to influence it, how to change it, or how to adapt to it. We do not delve into childhood, do not identify patterns in the work of the human psyche, we decide for ourselves why something happened to a person, why he feels something, why he does something, and decide for ourselves how to influence it. We completely program the brain — our own, someone else’s, depending on who works with whom. This is the creator’s approach to psychological problems, not the researcher’s.
And this idea, this idea, must be constantly replayed in your head. We need to convince ourselves that everything depends on our decision, on our interpretation of the highest meaning, on our reasoning on this topic. And the point is not to go against any objective laws of life, the point is to allow yourself to discover them by your own decisions. Let the system, the higher forces, manifest their laws through us, through our will, through our desire to see them as they are in our understanding. When we create, we also discover new things, as well as when we just open them. And so, in order for something at the subconscious level to feed this idea, something at the level of logic to develop it, you need to constantly think about why the system has arranged everything like this, why such and such events occur, why are we the way we are? And where to get the answer? That’s right, in my head. Come up with it. Giving free rein to your imagination. We are part of the creator, so why should we act from the bottom up, understand something, study some life stories, if we can program the brain the way we want, saying that such and such a psychological problem has arisen due to… say, the wrong arrangement of things on the desktop. And then we just take them and rearrange them in a different way, telling ourselves that this way the problem will be solved. And she will decide. Because that’s what we wanted! We are talking about psychological problems that arise due to the fact that the thoughts in your head are not built up the right picture.
Therefore, we reason and make statements so that suggestion occurs when it is necessary and all this in the context of the influence of higher forces on our lives. We decide for ourselves why they affect it in this way and what we should do to live a good life. Higher forces influence us, we influence higher forces because we are a part of them. The main thing is to look at all the problems globally, presenting yourself as the creator of this world and all the rules and laws that exist in it. And make bold decisions about how to live, act, and solve problems.
Well, now that we have understood the essence and principles of higher psychology, we will proceed to consider examples that will clearly show how to use it.
6. Depression
Consider the example of depression. This is one of the problems that many people in different parts of the world often face and will face even more often in this century, according to statistics. So let’s see how it can be solved using the method of higher psychology.
Let’s say you’re currently in a depressive state — or maybe just feeling down, upset, or unmotivated. What’s really happening to you? How can we understand this?
Here’s one way to look at it: A kind of “program” responsible for this state has been activated in you. It doesn’t matter whether this mood is justified or necessary — the program simply runs. Something triggered it. According to certain deeper mechanisms, specific factors have led you into this state.
It’s not you who’s depressed or in a bad mood — it’s the program operating within you. You, as a person, have temporarily become its subject. The actual circumstances — whether you’re facing problems or setbacks — are secondary.
Right now, your brain is painting you a depressing picture of the world — депрессивную. But the reality is different. About a generally neutral, neither good nor bad, but generally none. You can interpret it for yourself, as bad or good, or there with all sorts of shades. Now you imagine it in one way представляете, and you can imagine it in another way. The higher powers have given you this opportunity, you just need to take advantage of it. Reality is the void that your thoughts fill. And you choose how you imagine this world. You can suffer, you can be happy, you can be active, or you can wither. I repeat, this is the result of your choice. The higher powers have given you this right. And then you use your thoughts to run a particular program in yourself. So you create your own world. If you want to be depressed — you’ll be depressed. And if you’re depressed right now, then that’s what you wanted. You let some of your thoughts run this program in you. But for what? What for? For what life scenario? Think for yourself what it gives you, what you get from it. Once you’ve made this choice, it means that you need it for something. Well, the higher powers allowed you to use their laws of life to launch the appropriate scenario. You could make your choice unconsciously, allowing such a program to turn on inside you. But quite consciously, you can turn this program off and turn on another one.
Do you know what the most interesting part is? You don’t even need to remember anything, you don’t need to dig into yourself to sort out your thoughts, explain your motives, give out some nonsense, such as someone betrayed you, someone left you, or you were fired from your job, or some of your wishes didn’t come true, so you are depressed. All these alleged reasons, they are not necessary for you. You can now think of any reason why the depression program in you was activated and decide what to do with it. For example, you can say that you fell into depression because you wanted to live the scenario of an unhappy person, you wanted to suffer a little, you wanted to be weak. Nothing else matters. You just decided to look at life through the eyes of a depressed person, that’s all. And what happened there, because of what supposedly caused this depression, it’s all nonsense. This is not a reason, but a reason. You just wanted to link one thing to the other. They wanted to see such a scenario in their life. A loved one left you, although no, not a loved one, supposedly a loved one and you all decided that this was a reason to fall into depression. This is such a “loss”, my God, as they say.
And what now? What to do? If you want to attract attention to yourself, want someone to work with you on your problem, maybe even see some benefit in your depressed state, for example, you don’t have to work, solve all sorts of everyday issues, then you can continue to stay in this state. It’s your choice, you want it that way. Why not live like this. Or inthe future, you can get out of it for a longtime, from this state, with a creak, taking all sorts of drugs, antidepressants, attracting specialists to help you, attending some meetings of conditional losers who will tell about their unfortunate fate. Tut so much fuss can be that just a whole movie will turn out. Do you want this? Maybe so. Or you can just decide not to be in this state anymore. Because you don’t want to. And if you don’t want to, you won’t. You’re the creator. You are part of a higher power. So where-where, and in your inner world will be as you want. People manage to change their body chemistry thanks to placebos. Do you think depressive thoughts can’t be changed by realizing that this is just a game you’ve decided to play? So, it’s up to you. You can also say the same thing to those who you help to get out of a depressive state. Discuss with them their desire to be or not to be in this state.
You can also approach this problem from the standpoint of higher meaning, as I told you earlier when I spoke about the principles of higher psychology. You can look at depression as a message from a higher power. This is a signal of pain for you, of heartache, so that you can change something in your life, influence something, make some decisions, take some actions. Here you can think about what exactly needs to be done. Let’s say that the same breakup with a certain person caused you depression. Then the question is, what do the higher powers want to tell you in this way, why exactly do you have such feelings, depressive ones? Why not joy? Why not a neutral state? Gone and gone, why should this be a problem? And even if this is a problem, пwhy exactly depression, why fall into it? Thinke! Usually suffering leads to enlightenment, greater awareness, maturity, and empathy. Higher powers can push you toward greater wisdom in this way. Maybe you’ve abandoned someone like that, betrayed them, sent them away, and now life is paying you back. But not for the purpose of punishing, no, in any case, why. It’s для того, so that you understand how to build your own happiness, which people to choose for relationships, which ones to value, and what to value for. For example, зwhy should we drive away a person who treats you well, as happens when we reject someone’s love, and reach out to someone who treats you badly, only ostensibly to love ourselves? And then such a person betrays you, uses you, and leaves you. You get depressed because the higher powers show you that this is what happens if you don’t appreciate those who appreciate you, but appreciate those who don’t need you. If you don’t want this to happen, if you want consistency, you need to outgrow it. We need to get smarter. Why do you define yourself as a servant, running after those who do not appreciate you, and not a master, when you reject someone else’s feelings? So you decided to be a servant. You decided to be a weak person. This is your choice. The higher powers simply show you the patterns that exist in this life. And you choose which ones to live by. When you’re ready, you’ll make a different choice.
In this case, depression is a blessing. This state is necessary for a person to think about something, to realize, to rethink. Higher powers give a person the opportunity to grow out of the old self in order to become someone more perfect. Not the superficial person who judges something by the cover, but the one who sees the essence, who sees more. In this case, you need to use depression as a lesson, think about important things in life, think about yourself, about your personal qualities, suffer a little to become more human, and only then decide, just decide to start living a normal life again, with an already updated consciousness.
